Meditatures Section

Welcome to Myfishbites Meditatures - What are they??

I bought a great book by someone called Margaret Silf called 'Landscapes of Prayer - Finding God in Your World and Your Life.' The book has some amazing pictures of the world that God created, along with some thoughts, meditations (that just means focusing on God) and Bible verses in her own words (but totally true to the Bible). Another inspiration has been the incredible book, 'Hinds' Feet On High Places' by Hannah Hurnard which is an essential read :)

In the last few years, I've been privileged to travel around to some incredible landcsapes here in the UK, and some in the Rocky Mountains, Colorado and around Kansas City. On the way, by God's grace I've seen some extraordinary things that God has created, so we've adapted Margaret Silf's idea. Combining the words, 'meditation' and 'nature', I felt God say to call it 'meditatures'...!

Isaiah 2.3 says, Many peoples will come and say, “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the temple of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths...”

We pray that these meditatures will help you draw closer to God, hear him speak and walk in his ways in ever increasing brightness and splendour!
